it makes sense to me now,
the thought that
it all doesn’t make sense

and i can,
and wholeheartedly
accept this to be true
maybe it’s all one straight line emanating from one point
(or multiple points emanating multiple lines
and inside each line
is other points emanating other lines

we are an ant farm for something larger
which is another ant farm
for something larger

and thinking about the larger,
detracts from what we must do now…

does a dog wonder what it’s master is thinking?
all day?

a life in constant thought
of something
unreachable or unchangeable
in this form is a waste of time here
“trance yields no harvest”

I know i will eventually cross a bridge
while driving
but am i in thought of the bridge
when i am far away?
or should i focus on the road that leads me there?

i am the product of MY environment
MY reactions to the agonists’ that (e/a)ffect ME

MY choice
or sway
to the side of
light or dark
sun or moon

shade…
right inbetween…

Driving in Colorado…

January 15, 2007 · 1 Comment

This was how the roads looked, and how the roads around here should look now… they got dumped twice before i got there, some places like my friend Stephanie’s’ house still had 4 feet in places

it was a state of emergency for the first one, in which the Governor said only main roads to be plowed, then when the second hit, he hired and deputized everyone with a plow and put them on the payroll… so much snow…

NOW does anyone believe in global warming? it’s in the 50’s here… middle of January!

Maybe when it’s snowing in July someone might start believing!!!

Riding with Karl…

January 15, 2007 · Leave a Comment

when Sisko and I got out to Mary Jane / Winter Park to ride and chill with Karl, the first night, (well first I got in to Denver, went to a comedy club and saw vos with Steph and her father and Bert her boyfriend who I really liked, then sisko picked me up and we went up to a timeshare up the mountain, I really wish I had better pics of the pass, but i do have 2 of the moon lit night) well, the next morning, the same pass that we came over had one of the worst avalanches in history for there, 8 people buried but recovered… going to look for those pics online and try to post…

These are from multiple days of riding with the K… and from the first day with Sisko, by far the best first day riding of a season EVER!!!

Karl’s doing great out there, his brother and Mother wish he would call more often, but, who has time?

he really doesn’t get much reception there so if you need to get him, text him…

No trip to the county is complete without riding a nice calm non gaper day (a gaper is a term used to describe people in multiple ways… ie gaper, one who stands there gaping mouth while a local does something amazing like shoot out of the tree line and bust a trick… or, a gaper is a gay-per son… one who has matching ski outfits, or just isn’t localized…)

here’s a slide show…

here’s another slide show of Parrot Eyes, one of the resorts’ hot night spots… say it fast, parrot eyes… Paradise, anyways… here it is, sorry if the pictures are fuzzy, still bummed that my camera is going to cost $525 to fix… but my camera phone held up nicely…

Beaver Creek…

January 15, 2007 · Leave a Comment

and i guess lastly, this was beaver creek, a few shots… I was supposed to fly out on sat, but changed my flight to Sunday…

Friday night Steph was going to pick me up to go stay with Karl and ride Winter Park / Mary Jane, then we decided to stay in Summit County (did I mention that Summit County is the highest county in the country?) anyways, we woke up Sat morning and found out that everyone had gotten anywhere from 2-6 inches going west, Keystone getting 2″ 20 min east Breckenridge got about 3″ 45 min west of there, Vail getting the 6″ but 15 min west of Vail, Beaver Creek, getting an amazing 16″!!! so, needless to say, we packed up and drove the hour or so and did the beav… here are some shots…
